What is cvemon?

cvemon is a free vulnerability intelligence platform developed by Intruder to help businesses stay ahead of the latest threats.

By aggregating data from trusted sources, it provides the latest intelligence on CVEs and tracks what’s trending over the last 24 hours, complete with a hype score to contextualize the buzz.

Intruder’s Security team shares their expert commentary and practical advice through Insights, making it easier to understand what really matters and what action you might need to take.

How it works

Data sources

  • National Vulnerability Database (NVD) - The US government’s repository of standardized vulnerability information

  • CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities (KEV) Catalog - Vulnerabilities that have been exploited in the wild

  • Common Weakness Enumeration (CWE) - Software and hardware weaknesses that can lead to vulnerabilities

  • Research by Intruder’s Security team - Expert analysis from Intruder’s in-house security professionals

  • Vendor advisories - Security updates and bulletins released by vendors to disclose vulnerabilities and recommended fixes

  • Social media - Discussions from the security community that can highlight emerging threats and trends

Hype score

cvemon’s unique hype score measures how much buzz a CVE is getting on social media, compared to the most hyped vulnerabilities from the past 12 months. The maximum score is 100 (prepare to strap in at that level)
