CVE-2025-13968 identifies a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability within the Starboard Suite Reservation Calendars plugin for WordPress. This flaw affects all versions of the plugin up to and including 3.1.4. The vulnerability stems from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in the shortcode attributes, specifically within the `[starboard-suite-lightbox]` shortcode. This oversight enables authenticated attackers, possessing Contributor-level access or higher, to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. These injected scripts then execute whenever a user accesses a page containing the malicious code.
